I love how the posession is personalized for each special character. For Arven, he says “little buddy” and “tch” sometimes instead of Mochi and he gets embarrassed, Penny gets angry or worked up and says “Mochee” and even Movee I think which is a hint towards her love for eevee, and Nemona says “Mochi Match” and “Let’s…have…mochiful battle…” which is a hint toward her always saying, “Let’s have us a fruitful battle!”. I find this really cool.

Anyway, I've played every American mainline Animal Crossing since Gamecube and I miss old Animal Crossing so much. Wild World is my fav, but New Leaf added a lot to the gameplay, even if it was the tipping point where the villagers started becoming more bland. New Horizons was fun for a while as the ~new thing~ but the tools breaking is tedious and the villagers are all cardboard cutouts with no personality. Seeing New Leaf makes me wish I hadn't broken my 3DS by letting my 7 year old niece go ham on Wario Ware...
